Aquarius is rebellious, non-conformist, and philanthropic. They are unconventional by nature - that makes them unpredictable, and at times, detached and unemotional.
Although unorthodox, they tend to stick to their opinions or views - and do not easily change them. They generally have a philosophy of their own. Aquarians love to travel, and are often dubbed as the chief wanderers of the Zodiac. They also find themselves attracted to anything that is new or new age. They are growth-oriented and forward-looking, and love equality and freedom - of movement as well as thought. Prejudice, bias and inequality are offensive to the typical Aquarius. They are generally helpful, and always ready to help with genuine, unbiased advice. Their selfless optimism is practically contagious.

Angering Aquarius can be difficult because of their high tolerance for annoyances and petty dramas. There is little you can do to get under their skin. However, an act of cruelty or discrimination can really work them up - but it really has to be a pretty cruel act, like kicking around some small kittens or puppies - if you are willing. But, beware of their razor-sharp tongue which will pull a crowd.
Conformity can be a cruelty-free way to anger the cool-tempered but unorthodox Aquarians. Asking them to strictly conform to a code of conduct, or a dress code, can fire them up - especially if they are already ready (or dressed) for the occasion.
Aquarius' aloof revenge
Aquarians are not easily swayed by emotions. They are also diplomatic in their approach to life, work, friends and family. If they are truly angered, they are usually in no hurry to exact a revenge - even for a personal vindication. But Aquarius is not exactly a forgiving sign, and is known to carry their hatred to their graves.
An Aquarius revenge will typically be giving their adversary a piece of mind, with a razor-sharp tongue that can completely blow somebody off. Mostly, they would infer that you have "bad energy", and they will surely mark you off their list, or blacklist you till forever. Their aloof and indifferent attitude can be demeaning - as they tend to completely delete their adversary from their lives, which includes destroying gifts that were exchanged, or photographs that were pictured together.

On the other hand, Aquarians consider themselves as the measure of morality. If you have unwittingly hurt an Aquarius, don't expect forgiveness! There are times when Aquarians will go through the pretense of forgiving you, but you are anyway blacklisted and removed forever.

For Aquarius, pure joy would mean saving the planet - at a humanitarian and philanthropic level. Try to find agendas on the Internet - for salvation of all animate and inanimate, that need support, or a written pledge or contribution. Contributing to a global cause makes the Aquarius happy. Asking them to come up with a valuable squiggle for a worthy cause, would make their day.
Note that the above observations are mere solar-scopic indicators based on generic Aquarius traits and behaviours, and do not consider the other planets of an individual's Natal Chart required for real Horoscopic readings. Other planets may enhance, suppress, and even nullify certain Aquarius behaviours.
Also remember, anger is a basic human emotion and revenge is a reaction to anger. Each sign has a different response to anger, with differing approaches. Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) will explode in fury, then be hanging out with you again the next day. Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) will mope around for a while, but get over it if a sincere apology is offered (with the exception of Scorpio, who might never forgive you). Air signs (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini) will distance themselves or resort to the silent treatment. Earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo) will not forgive so easily, these signs can hold a grudge for decades depending on the offense.
